So, I have recently agreed to help out with MWMF, which is the Mid West Music Fest taking place July 30-31. I will be helping with some design direction and designing a flyer for one of the venues along with several other artists. I may even be working on a new website design…we’ll see what happens. MWMF is the first in a line of, hopefully, several more to come and is the brain-child of Sam “Bo-monro” Brown. It is a multi-venue music festival taking place in Winona, MN. It will be an all-age, 2 day event featuring bands from all over the Mid West area. It’s kind of a SXSW concept where the shows are at many local venues in the downtown area and it’s meant to support the local business there. It is a very cool and ambitious fest, so you guys should probably get some tickets…they are pretty cheap considering there are over 60 bands!

I’m not only helping out with some of the design, but I am also playing at it. My band, My Private Eye, is playing Saturday, July 31st at the Winona Historic Masonic Temple with some other great bands. Hope to see you out there. I also heard that hip-hop/R&B legend BIlly B will be performing…I can’t believe a first time festival had the budget to secure that kind of high-priced talent.
