Another graduation invitation. Kristin wanted something a little edgier, being the rebellious yet accomplished high school graduate she is. She liked it, but I don’t know about her parents.

The second of two shirt designs I created for my band We Are the Branches, using our logo and based on the lyrics, “I never saw it coming, the sucker punch” and “Because I’m down for the count”…I started to feel an unintentional boxing theme emerging so I went with it.

I went for a minimal 2 color and screen-printed look on this one. I think the textures and alignment of the text and graphical elements make this simple design effective.
